Aisha Buhari distributes food items to 1500 households in five LGAs in Borno State


Future Assured Humanitarian Activities distributed food items to 300 peoples in each of the five (5) selected local government returned to their land on Monday.  The event which had in attendance, Wife of the President, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari ably represented by Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo (Secretary WIPCOMDI), His Excellency, Hon. Usman Mamman Durkwa, Deputy Governor of Borno State, Local Government Chairmen of beneficiaries (Mafa, Dikwa, Gwoza, Askira Uba and Magumeri), stakeholders of the five aforementioned L.Gs and the entourage of Her Excellency, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima, Wife of Borno State Governor.


Hajiya Yagana Alkali Alkali Chairperson of NCWS and member of the WIPCOMDI committee urged the stakeholders to do justice while distributing the items in their respective local governments.


Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo Gambo said, the items will be taken to all the (5) returnees Local Governments of Borno State to succor their hardship and to empower 300 peoples in each of the five LGs.  His Excellency Hon. Usman Mamman Durkwa on behalf of Borno State Government, conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to Wife of the President Her Excellency, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari and her energetic, dedicated and committed Committee members for this timely assistance, use the medium to call on other well meaning Nigerians to emulate from Her Excellency.
He also calls on the beneficiaries to make judicial use of the items.XX Stakeholders of the Local Governments thanked Her Excellency, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, the Government of Borno State and the committee members for having Borno State at heart by coming to the aid of vulnerable ones.

On behalf of the Committee, Engr. Kori Shettima Shettima expressed her appreciation for the attendance and urged the Stakeholders particularly Local Government Chairmen to shun interest and share the items to all deserving persons in their respective local governments.
