Remember the woman fired for calling Michelle Obama ‘ape in heels’? She has got her job back

Shortly after Donald Trump was announced the winner of the United States election, Pamela Ramsey Taylor went on Facebook to make a racist comment stating that she could not wait to have a ‘classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House.’ She went on to refer to the current First Lady of the United States as an ‘ape in heels.’ (Read here)

Following a social media uproar, the woman who worked as a director of Clay County Development Corp in West Virginia was fired from her job. Now, according to a letter from the acting director of Clay County Development Corp, Leslie McGlothlin Taylor is being reinstated later this month. This revelation has been greeted with public backlash.
