At least, 73 people were killed and 600 injured
when a train carrying more than twice its
capacity went off track in Eseka, Cameroon,
yesterday. A baby who reportedly lost both of
her parents, is one of the youngest survivors
The overloaded train got derailed on Friday,
while carrying about 1,300 passengers,
instead of its capacity of 600. Over 70
people have been confirmed dea with about
600 person seriously injured and getting
treatment in the hospital. The country's
president has declared tomorrow as a public
holiday for the 70 killed to be mourned. See
