Women’s AFCON: Nigeria draw Ghana, Mali, Kenya

The draw for the women’s African Cup of
Nations took place in Camerron on Sunday,
with defending champions Nigeria drawn
against Mali, Ghana and Kenya.
Group A will be contested by hosts Cameroon,
Egypt, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Kenya will be participating in the tournament
for the first time in their history while
Zimbabwe will look to build on their
performances which saw them qualify for the
Olympics earlier this year.

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have won the
competition in all of the previous nine
editions.

The women’s AFCON will be held in Cameroon
between 19 November and 3 December this
year.
