Even though it's been a little over a year since the world found out that Lil Wayne had a problem with Birdman and his label Cash Money, rappers are just now starting to weigh in.
Last week, Rick Ross slammed the longtime music exec and said he doesn't respect him at all and apparently Pusha T feels the same way.
While speaking with Mikey T The Movie Star and Clark Martin on RerportCardRadio, the Virginia Beach wordsmith mirrored what Rozay said and called Birdman the worst kind of crook anyone could be.
"If you steal something that's just corny, and if you're stealing it contractually that's like the lowest form of a thief," stated Pusha. "It's not even respectable in no way, shape or form. You're not even thugging."
The "My Name Is My Name" rapper also said his negative feelings for the Cash Money boss is nothing new, and he hasn't thought highly of him in quite some time. "I haven't respected Baby for a long time no way," said G.O.O.D. Music's newly appointed president. "So it don't matter."
Pusha's apparent support of Lil Wayne may come as a shock to some since the two had beef a while back. Their conflict was a small one, however, and it didn't go any further than a few lyrics delivered in a song.
During the ReportCardRadio interview, The Clipse spitter also spoke about his "Darkest Before Dawn" release, which he's been heavily promoting this week.
A couple of days ago, he dropped one of the songs from it titled "M.F.T.R." and seemed to address Weezy's situation or perhaps just rappers in general.
"N----- talking it but ain't living it / Two years later admitting it, all them n----- is renting s--- / They ask why I'm still talking dope, why not? / The biggest rappers in the game broke," spit King Push.
